An LPE Realty community guide.
Who publishes this guide
Florida Keys Beaches is published by LPE Realty LLC, a licensed Florida real estate brokerage (DBPR license CQ1075686). We built it around one plain question: which beaches in the Keys can the public actually use, and what does each one charge, when does it open, and who allows dogs? The answers were spread across a state agency, a county, a village and two cities, each with its own page and its own way of saying things.
What this guide is not
This is an independent guide. We are not Monroe County, Florida State Parks, the Village of Islamorada, the City of Marathon, the City of Key West or a tourism bureau, and we do not speak for any of them. No park, beach or business paid to appear here. When an operator’s page and ours disagree, the operator is right, and every fact box links to that operator so you can check.
How a fact gets onto this site
- We read it on the operator’s own page: Florida State Parks for the state parks, Monroe County for county parks and rules, the Village of Islamorada, the City of Marathon and the City of Key West for their beaches.
- We record the day we read it. For this edition that was October 24, 2026, and each fact box prints its source and that date.
- When two official pages disagree, we print both and say which one we treat as current and why, rather than quietly picking one.
- When something is not published, we say it is not posted or not confirmed. We do not fill gaps from travel blogs, older guides or memory.
- Every fee and hour in our copy names its operator and the date it was posted, because fees and hours change.
Drafting with AI, checking by hand
We draft with the help of AI tools. Before a page goes live, a person on our team checks each statement of fact against the operator record it came from, and the sources are human-verified. That is why the byline reads Florida Keys Beaches Editorial Team rather than an invented writer.
Other guides by the same publisher
LPE Realty LLC also publishes a small number of other independent community guides. Each is written for its own place from its own sources. We say so here so the common ownership is clear.
No paid placements, no listings
Nothing here is a paid placement, and this guide does not show property listings. If a sponsor is ever added, it will carry a clear sponsored label where it appears.
Send us a correction
If a fee changes, a park posts a new closure notice or a rule reads differently on the day you visit, tell us through the contact page or at info@lperealty.com. We recheck the operator page, update the record and change the date beside it.
