The short answer

Florida Keys Beaches is general information about public beaches in the Florida Keys. Hours, fees, closures and rules belong to the operators that set them and can change at short notice, so confirm anything important with the operator before you go. Swimming is at your own risk.

Information, not advice

The pages on this site are general information. They are not legal, financial or real estate advice for your situation. For advice about buying or selling a home, talk to a licensed professional.

Hours, fees and rules change

We check facts against the operators that publish them and show when we checked. Florida State Parks, Monroe County, the Village of Islamorada, the City of Marathon and the City of Key West can still change hours, fees, closures and rules, so confirm anything important with them before you rely on it.

Water, weather and closures

None of the beach operators we checked posts lifeguards. Swimming and snorkeling are at your own risk, and posted rules, such as flag requirements, apply. Storms, high tides and full parking lots can close parks or parts of them at short notice. Follow the instructions of the operator and of local officials; nothing on this site replaces them.
